Lots of fun. Blazing hot, then pouring rain.
JoanJett and the Heartbreakers - sounded pretty good and were entertaining in 1000 degree heat.
Poison - I’m not a huge fan, but they were really good and the lead singer knows how to entertain.
Motley Crue - it’s over. The Crue needs to hang it up and enjoy retirement. Overweight and I thought the lead singer was going to stroke out before the end of each song. The guitarist is 71 - yep, you read that correctly. And he looks every day and second of it. Both the band and the crowd were glad to get that set finished.
Def Leppard - they’ve still got it! Tried to push their new album a bit too much. But kept playing in the pouring rain and absolutely rocked the house! The crowd loved them.
seeing all these bands made me feel old. But we had a great time. Truist is actually not a bad place for a concert and entrance and exit was fairly easy (even from the floor).
