If the rest of the season goes how we want it to then we still have 8 games left which means we are only halfway through the season right now.
Carson is clearly in a funk and we have some issues to clean up but there is time left and plenty of talent on the roster to get it fixed. Turnovers obviously being the biggest issue right now. I also see a lot of positives with this team though with how our front 7 is playing (best since 2021 IMO) and continued great ST play. This is a LONG season and there is something to be said for still winning despite not having played nearly a complete game yet. Will be interested to see if Kirby can get us peaking by the end of this month..
PS: There are NO ‘great’ teams this year and certainly nobody we couldn’t beat on a neutral field. Dillon Gabriel and Will Howard would really struggle with our defense. Ironically, Bama/Milroe would probably be our toughest matchup and if LSU or Auburn can take care of business then we won’t even see them.
