Just got home from spraying trees for the first time this year, typical....

first time. Had to mechanic on a few things, filters kept stopping up, wiring, few other odds & ends. Got it blasting now though. Came home to a fine meal hot & ready.

Farmers were a in the fields turning dirt & putting in seed.

Thanks. I bet that is no cheap process these days with the costs of pesticides the way they are. If the libs have their way you would have to use organic methods. I saw about every decent herbicide and insecticide get trashed over the years I worked for the Forest Service.
 
its dangerous stuff, we spray most varieties on a two week rotation......

we, and a lot of other growers are looking to start moving towards more fungus or scab resistant varieties due to not only the cost but the time involved. The resistant varieties though are typicall smaller nuts and fetch a lower price, but with costs & time they are quickly becoming worth it.
