It got me thinking…makes perfect sense that we are giving up the opportunity to host one of the biggest college football games every year on our campus. Not only one would it be great for recruiting but it could be great for us season tickets holders as well as we’ve seen our home game schedule deteriorate over recent years with Tenn, Auburn, Carolina and Tech struggling to field good teams.

What do you think of this possibility….??Florida game becomes a home and home and instead of opening at the Benz. We start having a Kickoff Cocktail party by opening the season in Jacksonville (neutral site for games like Oregon, Oklahoma etc)
This way we can get some money from city of Jacksonville (they pay pretty handsome figures for us to have the Florida game down there), so we don’t have to lose that entire amount. AND, us fans still get our weekend on the south ga islands. What ya think?
