Can someone give me a breakdown on him -- his skills, weaknesses, upside, etc.?
I have a tendancy to write off walk-ons as special teamers at best and generally assume if they are getting considerable PT on offense or defense then there is a serious issue with recruiting and roster management.
Towns seems different. He has great mesurables and seems to produce when given the opportunity. His speed and ability to stretch the field seem lacking but I'm basing that on just the very few clips I've seen. Is he a guy that has pretty much maxed out his ability and, due to natural skill limitations, has very little room for further improvement?
What was the story with him as a recruit? Did he have any offers? Was he a late bloomer in terms of physical development? Did he come out of a small school that was kind off the recruiting grid?
How does he compare to Hedegus? Hedegus had all kinds of hype when he transferred over and during his initial practices before getting hurt.
