I told my wife the exact same thing during the game when they put up the “noise meter” on the Jumbotron (which doesn’t seem to be consistent/accurate based on noise levels at different times in the game).
My comment to her was “We’re acting like Braves fans in the late 90’s after getting spoiled by multiple World Series appearances & 1 championship. If you’ll recall, David Justice called out Braves fans for the exact same thing before the decisive Game 6 of the 1995 World Series. Then he hit a solo home run that was the only run we needed. He put his money where his mouth was. Hopefully Kirby will do the same this yr.
