KS explained in Yesterday's press conference He wants to use elements of both pro-style and spread.
If this worries Jacob, use Mike Bobo's UGA offense as a visual template. We ran a very integrated and successful hybrid in Mike's last 4 years in Athens. It's also the offense JE signed up for in the first place.

Another note, Tyson Helton has operated a very similar offense, even at WKU he ran mostly from under center early on. Not that I'm convinced Helton will be Our OC, I'm back to wait and see.

I'm starting to think Kirby wants to run the patriots offensse.

Helton runs a similar shotgun offense at WKU. It's fine by Me, but Kirby has already said He wants big backs, I'm not sure his idea of a bruising running game matches well with WKU's offense, which thrives on forcing defenses away from the LOS to give quick backs space.

All offenses are spread anymore, the terms are overly convoluted. All Eason needs to hear is that we will run some play action from under center to run the ball and play action pass. That is it, That is all. The NFL just wants guys that have worked from under center as you historically can't run the ball from the shot gun with any regularity in the NFL and there are kids coming through that struggle taking a snap from under center and have crap foot work in the play action pass game when they combine.

That is the entire discussion.

Exactly I think we hire right guy with a power run scheme

The Stanford OC runs the most traditional power pro-set I know of.
My only concern is Bloomgren's not exactly looking or acting like a typical SEC coach. His players are very loyal and He has coached in The South East though, so I might be underestimating southern kids' tolerance.

Yea bloom green has always been west cost

Based on trying to talk with the Arkansas OC and rumor of the Southern Miss OC, I have a feeling we are going to bring in someone that is not on anyone's wish list (like Helton). Guess we will see.

I'm a feared You might be right.
You never know though, some hire out of left field could end up being a great fit.
Still I hope it's Helton and He tweaks his scheme to fit Our needs. I have little doubt He's talented enough to make adjustments, He did in fact take WKU's offense from a center exchange to shotgun, so He has experience with both.

I really don't care who they bring in to run the offense, so long as they can successfully develop talent, game plan and recruit.

Yes, it would be nice to see players that can block and tackle. It would be great to see dbs that can set the edge and turn the play in no matter whether they are blocked or not.

Used to drive me crazy when runners continually got around the corners. There is just no excuse for it. Poor discipline and coaching.

I'm begging You, give it a rest, don't make Me come over there.
