Those of us avid Dawg fans… I cannot think of a time where we have thrown it as much as we have this year! Crazy! We have the best back in the country imo… with Etienne. I realize he got dinged up but we still throw it more than we run it. So my question to those of us that follow us regularly. How much of this is Kirby keeping other defensive coordinators guessing? Are we throwing this much to hopefully draw some attention from higher profile recruits? It’s so unlike Kirby to put the ball at risk is my point. We are slinging the ball around and it’s not our identity! It’s not like we got a bunch of man beaters at the receiver position . Is this Carson potentially complaining about not being able to throw it as much? Is he the one getting us out of a run play and into a throw? I’ve been watching us since the 80’s and I’ve never seen us throw the ball like we are throwing now! Are defenses playing us like this… a lot of personal in the box and he’s checking to a throw? We slinging it…. Hopefully we sling it better! Makes me nervous! lol… I like a downhill run game! Less bad things can happen! I know I sound like Munson but damn…. I about lost it in the stands with all the turnovers. We come out the next series slinging it again like nothing ever happened!! Thoughts?
