over the years. Not trying things because the decision was made in the game plan that it wouldn't be successful... at the expense of repeatedly running plays that were having little to no success with the hope that something would change if only we could execute. And for goodness sake please remove that short swing pass to the back from the playbook. If that's your best idea to get a back in space then uh oh.

And the first and only toss sweep with two minutes left in the game when the game is on the line and we had to have a play... just mind boggling. And one bootleg with a successful misdirection pass the entire game. Bobo obviously thought that it would be too risky to have Beck turn his back to the defense because we didn't think we could block their front four.

Everyone in the pregame... Butler, Zeier and Shockley all kept saying to make their big lineman run sideline to sideline early to wear them out. But for some reason we chose to attack their strength instead.

On defense it seems like we only had success when we guessed right. I said last week that our d line is undersized. It's basically the same d line as last year and very susceptible to the run.... injuries not withstanding. The young guys really need to grow up in a hurry.

Great win for the team but Kirby really needs to rethink his offensive game plans... especially in the first half. Trying to win it in the fourth quarter will eventually cost us another natty.
