May this day of resurrection Bless each of us.

May we understand that Christ died for us, taking our sins away. Sin that separates us from God.

And that he defeated death and walked again on this earth.

All to save us because God loves His creation.

His creation. Every single soul. You and me. Not one left out. He loves us enough to sacrifice His Son to take our place.

He is risen. He is risen Indeed!

Happy Easter Sunday to all the chat characters.

The Bible is expansive enough that you can find passages to support many different behaviors and beliefs.

**Matthew 7:12 (New Testament) - The Golden Rule**
- "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."

**Romans 14:1-4 (New Testament) - Accepting Differences in Faith Practices**
- "Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them."

**Leviticus 19:34 (Old Testament) - Loving the Stranger**
- "The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God."

**Luke 6:27-31 (New Testament) - Love for Enemies**
- "But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you."

**1 Peter 4:8 (New Testament) - Love Covers Over a Multitude of Sins**
- "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."

**Colossians 3:12-14 (New Testament) - Clothe Yourselves with Compassion**
- "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."

**James 2:1-4 (New Testament) - Warning Against Favoritism**
- "My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, ‘Here’s a good seat for you,’ but say to the poor man, ‘You stand there’ or ‘Sit on the floor by my feet,’ have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?"

**Micah 6:8 (Old Testament) - What the Lord Requires**
- "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

**Proverbs 24:17-18 (Old Testament) - Do Not Rejoice When Your Enemy Falls**
- "Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice, or the LORD will see and disapprove and turn his wrath away from them."

**Ephesians 4:2-3 (New Testament) - Unity and Peace**
- "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

Yes, the Christians living in muslim countries are shown that love by beatings and killings at the hand of the muslimes. It is a peaceful religion though , I remember that. Sorry for the rant, but seriously, I hope you have a great Easter with friends and family surrounding you.

But nothing allows for unrepentive sin.

If you are trying to say do what you wish and all is good, then you have missed the gospel message completely and your understanding of scripture also.

Your first sentence is wrong, as scripture from Genesis forward directs us to Christ, which is the whole point.

And yes, Matthew asks us to treat others with the same respect we expect. But it does not tell us to accept sin. Otherwise, Christ would not have had to take our sins to the cross.

Romans eludes to Christians still following Jewish cultural practices regarding clean and unclean food. The attempt there to move them to the importance of the gospel versus ritual formality.

No work we do earns forgiveness of sin, only the blood of Christ.

The grace of salvation is the point, not looking for behavioral excuses to meet our desires.

The Bible states clearly the only way to the Father is through Christ.

The Gospel of Christ is 1) believing Christ is God’s Son, that he was born from a virgin birth, lived as a man, and was crucified and resurrected, for all sins of man. 2) To be baptized and 3) live a repentive life. A life of duty to God, not His duty to us.

That is the simplicity of the gospel. There is no allowance for variances of faith or religions. God is very specific in what is required of us.

Good conversation.

The worst evil is the sly evil rampant in this country. It is evil which cloaks itself in platitudes ie calls itself moral and hides in plain sight masquerading as good.
This willdup character you converse with is completely oblivious to his own ruination. He, along with many others like him, really have been convinced that good is evil and evil is good. It is sad.
They say it's never too late. But at a certain point, God will close the door after a person is called many times and seeing the truth refuses to answer. Then the destroyer can convince them that white is black and black is white.
