FSU’s president is quoted in the story saying “We never said we wanted to leave the league.”
Well, that’s just not true because they filed a lawsuit explicitly saying they wanted to leave and couldn’t. They *literally* issued a notice of their intent to leave.
It’s pretty clear that they’ve learned (a) they don’t have a legal path to leaving (as @LawDawg86 and I have said since day 1), but maybe even more importantly (b) there’s nowhere for them to go.
