NonDawg Let's do 6 favorite cities not in U.S

Budapest - to me it’s Europe’s most beautiful, walkable city
Rome - food and history unparalleled
Bangkok - fun city with insane energy
Istanbul - lived there for 15 years and I know every nook and cranny. Gorgeous place.
Seoul - great food, amazing subway system, fun place to live for an expat
Salzburg - stunning natural beauty and art history

Same here, traveled a little for a South GA boy:

Edinburgh
Madrid
Oxford
Barcelona
London/Paris tie

Doing Rome, Venice, and Florence later this year.
we did Venice, Florence, and Rome last year - magical. I could move there and be perfectly happy. Enjoy!

Been to 3 of these but not enough time other than Budapest and I agree. Mesmorizing, Parliment building on the Danube at night is great as it on the top of Buda overlooking Pest. Istanbul is on my list. If you would be so kind can you pm me with a few things to do there, area's to stay, food, etc? Thanks in advance

I have blessed to travel a lot so:

Queenstown NZ
Banff Alberta
Prague
Barcelona
Budapest
Athens Greece
Lot's more but sticking to 6
Porto, Portugal
Barcelona
Buenos Aires
Medellin
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Mexico City

I did not include San Miguel De Allende, since I live here now.

From the looks of these travels our NIL collective should be in great shape!🤣

My list would include anything in Ireland…great people and equally great golf and pubs
Rome
Los Cabos
Vancouver
New Orleans…since it’s kind of like a third world country in parts

Ireland is my favorite country other than NZ(tie maybe) but I considered that even though I like Dublin not one of my top 6. I love the whole country and feel at home no matter where on the Island. Pubs check, scenery check, golf check, people check

Agree. I actually prefer Shannon, Waterville, and anything on the SW coast. Dublin is cool but I prefer the smaller towns. NZ and Australia are on the bucket list for sure.

Me too. That is the best but also looking foward to Donnigal and N. Ireland in a year or two.

Going to Frankfurt this Summer and I notice it hasn’t been mentioned. Any recommendations?

Also, anyone ever been to St. Petersburg, Russia by chance?

Edinburg
St Andrews
Killarney, Ireland
Budapest
Grindelwald Switzerland

Stockholm
Helsinki
Toledo, Spain
Monte Carlo

Will only include cities I’ve been to, not those I’m wanting to go to….

Munich, GER
Queenstown, NZ
Montreal, CA
Sydney, AU
Avignon, FRA
Amsterdam, NED

These are cities I visited while on UNCLE Sam's All America Green Team 1966-69.

I did N Ireland one day during a trip to Dublin a few years back. It was pretty cool. Never been to Donnigal. As far as the big cities go I preferred Galway to Dublin honestly.
