In April 2019, Weaver signs a $350k contract to lobby Congress for a Russian firm.
One month later (after it becomes public), Weaver backs out of the contract.
Long way from when he was advising Kasich (2016), and nothing compared to the activities of Roger Stone, Gates, and Manifort when they worked with the Ruskies during the 2016 campaign (remember to send our internal polling data to the KGB was the message of the day).
