I checked on the explosive plays in games by teams playing P4 teams this weekend. Granted that it's a short list since so many played cupcakes and it's not really fair to count those.

Va Tech played Vandy- Vandy D finished 124th out of 133 teams in yards per play last year.
Penn St. played WVA- WVA D finished 80th out of 133 teams in yards per play last year.
Miami played UF- UF D finished 122nd out of 133 teams in yards per play last year.
Georgia played Clemson- Clemson D finished 9th out of 133 teams in yards per play last year.
It's kind of hard to find holes with this team after one game. You even have to make up stuff to come up with something.
