Georgia fans get their first look at the 2021 Bulldogs here shortly in today’s G-Day game and there several areas they’re sure to be focused on.

We’ll start with the offense where quarterbacks JT Daniels and Stetson Bennett are set to lead the Red Team, with Carson Beck and early enrollee Brock Vandagriff leading the Black.

There are few housekeeping tips that fans will need to be aware of:

No. 1: There will be 15-minute quarters with a running clock, with exceptions being scores, penalties and change of possession.

No. 2: Halftime will be 12 minutes long.

No. 3: The following game situations will be no tackle (two-hand touch) – players in white jerseys, punts and kickoffs. The ball will be spotted at the 30-yard line after kickoffs. After punts, the ball will be placed at the discretion of head coach Kirby Smart.

Updated rosters are below.

Naturally, there will be several areas we will be watching closely.

Although offensive coordinator Todd Monken will not show much at all in terms of packages and scheme, it will be important to note how smoothly the offense is able to execute and get in and out of its plays.

Personnel-wise, we’ll finally get to see how the offensive line shapes up.

Based on what we’re seeing with the Red team, which makes up the first team offense, Xavier Truss, Jamaree Salyer, Warren Ericson, Justin Shaffer and Warren McClendon are all included, with Tate Ratledge as the other scholarship lineman slated to rotate in and out with the group.

Injuries have obviously impacted the situation at wide receiver, but a quick look at the Red Team roster shows Justin Robinson, Adonai Mitchell, Kearis Jackson and Demetris Robertson.

Zamir White and James Cook are listed as the Red Team running backs, along with Kenny McIntosh, although the latter is recovering from an elbow injury and will not play.

Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards will rep with the Black squad.

At tight end, John FitzPatrick and Brett Seither will suit up with the Red, Darnell Washington and Brock Bowers with the Black.

Defensively, there does not appear to be any surprises in regard to the front seven.

Defensive linemen Jordan Davis, Devonte Wyatt and Travon Walker are all included, with Nolan Smith and Adam Anderson at outside linebacker, with Quay Walker and Channing Tindall on the inside. Nakobe Dean will not play as he continues to recover from Labrum surgery.

Obviously, the secondary will receive a large share of today’s attention.

Cornerbacks Ameer Speed and Jalen Kimber will each take part as members of the Black team, with Kelee Ringo a member of the Red. Lewis Cine, Christopher Smith and Latavious Brini are also with the Black.

Be sure to stay tuned with UGASports throughout the day.

We’ll have live updates throughout the game, and of course, tons of coverage at the conclusion of today’s action.
