Back with Keegan McGovern at 1b... Tucker Bradley gets the start in LF, Will Campbell is RF, Austin Biggar is catching and Michael Curry is DH. Will Procter is at 2b.
I don't like what we are doing at 1b... it seems like we are getting weaker defensively at two positions so we can get Tucker Bradley into the lineup instead of Adam Sasser or LJ Talley. That doesn't make a great deal of sense to me.
I would venture to guess that Biggar is going to catch 90% of our games going forward. I think that's what should happen... and I imagine absent a slump, Will Procter will get 75% of the remaining games at 2b...
Interesting move with us starting Kristofak today on the mound given his ascension in the bullpen. I don't imagine he'll go more than 2-3 innings as I'm sure we want to get Ryder and Glover some work as well.
We beat these guys at their place last year... we should have the majority of the crowd this afternoon also. Sure would be nice to get a win and bring some good feelings back to Athens for the weekend...
