Not likely to happen, but sweeping LSU is not out of the question (crazy talk I know). Look, I’m not making any predictions with this team with the way they no-showed against Mizzou, but there is something to be said about playing this series at home. Also, LSU just lost their series at home vs Miss St. In fact they blew a 13-4 lead to lose one of those games. Their bullpen is almost as bad as ours. If we can keep it close vs Skenes and get to their bullpen (assuming our bats won’t go AWOL) and take game one, then we have a chance.
I’m not pumping any optimism here because we certainly have our own issues but no one in a million years expected us to sweep Arkansas.
