Tough loss last night for sure.
I live in the Macon area and attend one or two weekend series a year so I'm not able to catch most games.
The last few years it seems 1-4 in the lineup can hit and the rest it's just bad.
I don't feel that way this year. Despite the 1-3 start, I feel this team could be dangerous late in the year.
This is the first time and I don't know when that I feel that anyone in the lineup can hit.
We are young which will hurt but there are some good looking ball players in this group.
The kid that impressed me the most last night was Cam Shepard. Kid has a great approach and hit it on the screws every bat. The kid can really pick it at short too.
Also impressed with Zak Kristofak came in and was dirty. Guy is super impressive.
Austin Biggar may be one of the best looking catchers behind the plate that I've seen at Georgia.
And Gist pitched well despite tiring later on.
