UPDATE: Just spoke with Boireau after his official visit.
He told me that Georgia has been pushing harder for him over the past two or three months. That resulted in him getting on campus this weekend.
As we all figured, Georgia sees Boireau as the "anchor" in the middle of the defense clogging up the A-gaps. He told me he's currently 6-foot-5 and 388 pounds. The vision for his playing weight is somewhere around 340 pounds.
Boireau also had an interesting quote about Georgia's production along the defensive front. He said they don't see him as an "experiment." Instead, they have had success utilizing and developing players his size and sending them on to the NFL. You only have to look at Jordan Davis to see that blueprint.
With a decision coming tomorrow morning, I'm liking where Georgia sits. But we'll see.
