Sammy Brown will be in Athens today meeting with Glenn Schumann UGASports has confirmed. @Adam Gorney posted about this a couple of days ago. UGASports has been told that Georgia is recruiting Brown “50 times harder than anyone else” by a source very close to the recruitment. As much as I personally felt that Clemson would be the spot for Brown for a long time, it certainly feels now that Georgia has momentum and an edge at the moment. OVs will be crucial. Georgia gets their shot after Clemson.

THE REST OF MAY
There won’t be any visitors this weekend as the staff will be off for Memorial Day. Things will get kicked up a notch on May 31 though as there is a big group of prospects coming in to camp and for unofficials.

This offensive lineman from London is one of them. Akinkunmi is a member of the NFL Academy which is a football pipeline for prospects from Europe ran by former Georgia wide receiver Kris Durham. This will be Akinkunmi’s 2nd visit.

@JedMay posted a while back that some priority 2025 targets will be in town as well. Here is that confirmed list again.

Many more to come and we’ll confirm as we get them.

PROSPECTS GEORGIA HAS MOMENTUM WITH

Sammy Brown and KJ Bolden are likely to announce decisions by July. Daniel Calhoun should announce his decision around the same time. Should Georgia be able to close on those three priority targets, then this class is really going to be special for Georgia. Right now UGASports believes the Dawgs have the momentum with each headed into official visits

Kam Mikell is another in-state prospect to keep an eye on. However, even after his OV, it seems that Mikell has more to think over.

In terms of out of state prospects, Jaden Reddell, Joseph Phillips, and Casey Poe are all guys that Georgia made a move with this weekend and it feels like Georgia is now the team to beat for.
