They are extremely physical, big and tough. Drinkwitz does an incredible job with their offense. Nobody in the country is playing better on O than they are, with their QB, Brady Cook. They’ll be well-rested coming into Sanford. They’re terrorizing defenses across the SEC. They’re extremely talented, in a good system. I thought they were really good last year, and they’ve gotten better.
Brady Cook is very experienced, which is the number one quality you look for in a QB; how many games has he played in; has he played on the road in the SEC; he’s done all of those things and he’s done them really well; they’re using his legs and his ability to run really well; he’s a real competitor; he’s fast and he’s playing at a high level, and he’s doing it with some really athletic weapons offensively.
We didn’t play very well last year in Columbia, and we have to give Missouri credit; we’ll have to stop the things they do well; they’re very explosive offensively; they have a number of O weapons, a big TE, and a very unique running game that’s unmatched in the SEC; when you add all of that together, it’s a recipe for scoring a lot of points; they’re very explosive; we have to be able to cover them, to rush the passer, but they’re not easy to cover when you have an accurate QB and explosive, athletic wide-outs. Their D is extremely aggressive; they’ll get after you.
