For just sippin, I generally like a good single malt skortch. MacCallan 18 a favorite. But I also like me a nice smooth Maker's Mark on the back porch in the hammock on a warm day. Either bottle gets to the halfway point, I'm shoppin for my next one. My loving wife knows these things about me.
That said to say this.... the woman I gave flowers, a thoughtful card full of the usual BS a guy says to his wife/girl, and dinner to yesterday... same broad. Just poured a 1/4 cup of Maker's in a recipe she's cookin for bourbon chicken. After looking at her with a look that used to wither opposing pitchers when I played softball, I said to her, "No. You did not."
But she did. Maybe she'll be washing her feet with my scotch tonight.
So I ask you relationship experts, is this what they mean by 'irreconcilable differences'? And would one of you legal beagles have the standard divorce packet handy? Maybe either email or on the post tomorrow?
