With Branch and Thomas coming in do we see more max protect and or chipping on the DE's ? My theory in 2024 with less then explosive or dangerous receivers Bobo went to more 4 or 5 guys in pattern to try to flood some areas and look for specific matchups and as a result we left all 5 OL on an island to pass block. Very seldom did we chip the DE's or keep both TE and RB in to help protect. We have 2 very dangerous receivers coming in from the Portal, my hope is they can get open quicker via 1 on 1 matchups so we can max protect our QB and help out or OL more in 2025 than we did in 2024. Didn't think we helped our OL out in 2024 as we should.
