UGASports has been checking with sources throughout the day on Williams Nwaneri's visit to Athens. Here's what we've found.

Nwaneri met with multiple members of the Georgia staff including Kirby Smart, Glenn Schumann, and Chidera Uzo-Diribe. Some current players spent some time with Nwaneri as well. The sense UGASports gets is that there wasn't some grand "final pitch" given out on this visit. It was just another chance for Nwaneri to spend time around his potential future coaches and teammates, experiencing the culture at Georgia and learning how he could fit in the defense.

Nwaneri is a prospect who projects mainly as a 5-tech, but he could also stand up on the edge as needed, a lá Travon Walker. I think those are the kinds of guys Georgia is going for this cycle with some of the depth accumulated at outside linebacker over the past couple of classes.

As the dust settles on June, this is shaping up mainly as a Georgia/Oklahoma battle. Missouri and Tennessee can't be totally discounted, but from speaking with sources UGASports believes this is between the Bulldogs and Sooners.

This is also a recruitment that UGASports feels is likely to come to an end in July or early August. Georgia has certainly positioned itself well as we now transition to the dead period.
