Since 2017 we basically never lose to teams that we are more talented than. With that in mind I went over to TOS to check out the team talent composite to see where we are vs teams in the playoff. First off, we are the most talented team in the playoff. The next 4 most talented teams are on the other side of the bracket - OSU, Texas, Clemson, and Oregon. ND comes in 9th behind LSU and ahead of TAMU, for reference. Then PSU at 11. Those are the only 2 teams on our side that come remotely close to our roster talent. SMU is 25th, Indiana is 57th (what a job by their staff to get them to the playoff), and Boise is 76th. Whoever we face will need to out coach Kirby Smart and overcome a significant talent disadvantage vs a Georgia team that is battle tested and mentally strong. Not sure about you, but I am feeling pretty good.
