Is that Kirby uses a game like Kentucky every year to send a message to the team. We play very vanilla and base and he gets them to man up and physically beat a team. I remember he had that mindset in 2016 in the first year. We lost some games but he was instilling toughness. The last 3 times to Kentucky has been like that because he knows his defense will shut down Kentucky's poor offense and make them one dimensional. Based on comments we really didnt send the receivers out much, really ran the coley OC plan. And he knows Stoops will field physical team. And our guys played bad and missed some blocks and tackles. Now he can harp for 2 weeks in practice about how they need to work hard and barely beat Kentucky. And Kirby doesn't care about the noise out there, he just wants to win the NC and needs to get this team ready for the gauntlet we are about to run. Hes not like Huepal.

I don't think we are really that bad. I think you will see a much more focused and ready team Saturday.

We roll. 28-20
