Glad to see our center Jared Wilson & others self-policing RB Nate Frazier (before Kirby chewed his a#$). Shows leadership & evidence of a player-led team. Teaching moment for sure for a very young, very talented player.
I’m not condoning or defending Frazier’s post-gator chomp throat-slash celebration (which nowadays will always get a flag)… however, a little context: Frazier pays tribute to former UGA running backs every time he scores a TD. In Game 1, he mimicked Sony’s jazz hands 👐 & Swift’s samurai bow 🙏. Against Florida, he was emulating Gurley’s same Gator chomp & throat slash. 🐊 ❌
Not saying he should have done it (he shouldn’t), but that’s WHY he did it.
I do like the fact that he wants to pay tribute to those RB’s who wore the Red & Black before him. He could be the next great one.
