Daughter's first choice of secondary education is Georgia. (Florida will likely be second.) We live in Florida and we've done three years of pre-paid as well as a decent amount in a 529. She'll also qualify for 100% Bright Future scholarship in Florida.
With that said, her first choice is Georgia.
She's in the high school ROTC, which is also sponsored by the Air Force. She's excelled in the unit and is the current group commander. She also has a 4.7 GPA, lots of AP and honors classes, etc. After her senior year, she'll likely have about 30 college credit already completed. She's gone back and forth on going into the Air Force after college, though if she can get an ROTC scholarship at UGA it might sway her. And would certainly help with the financials.
Thanks!
