ND Travel Baseball

Man do I hate travel baseball more and more. Need opinions/advice. Son’s team plays pickup players over actual team members. Is this normal? Am I too old school to think this is an ass-backwards way to handle lack of player issue?

I’m all ears bc I watched this happen to multiple kids today and it pisses me off.
