Just spoke with Scott for a few minutes.
He said he's speaking with Tray Scott very often, sometimes every day. Scott calls the 5-star prospect his long-lost cousin due to their shared last name. Georgia's defensive line coach also FaceTimed Scott while he and some other coaches/prospects were bowling during Scavenger Hunt weekend.
Scott said the delay in his first visit to Athens has nothing to do with waning interest in the Bulldogs. He said he's "super excited" to be officially visiting Athens June 2-4. Some personal things have kept him from visiting before now, but that will change next weekend.
After Georgia comes official visits to Michigan, Miami, and Ohio State in that order. Scott also mentioned possibly taking an official visit to Notre Dame when the Irish host Ohio State on Sept. 23. But he also floated the idea of committing on Sept. 1, his mother's birthday, so we'll see there.
Full story to come.
