They had 14 steals and we had 18 turnovers. Absolutely terrible passing of the ball on our part. We threw so many lackadaisical passes I can't believe my tv screen survived the night. Except for Blue I thought our backcourt was out of sync all game. Godfrey played 9 minutes with zero rebounds and 2 turnovers. he continues to disappoint. We were outrebounded by a smaller team. They missed several wide open 3s so we were just lucky. Maybe the eleven day layoff had something to do with it, but why would it? Asa and Somto played well and we shot our FTs well and we won. That's about all I can say positive.
No mistake GCU is a good team, but we are not gonna win many sec games with that kind of effort.
