And it should be no surprise that they are promoting homosexuality within children.

Supposedly, this show "The Fosters," which I had not even heard of, much less watched, had a scene which depicted two 13-year-old characters... males... who kissed one another.

Where will it end?

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see that convincing anybody that is not

gay to be gay.

When I was a kid, you could have shown me thousands of shows with boys kissing and I wouldn't have thought it was for me. Maybe others are more easily swayed.

Encouraging others to practice immoral behavior is nothing short of....

a blatant repudiation of and rebellion against God's moral laws. To do so with children is outright devilish and satanic.

God's word is CLEAR about the behavior of homosexuality....it is SINFUL behavior and against His perfect will and law.

When men consistently abandon God and His word, God will ABANDON them. He accomplishes this indirectly and immediately, by removing His restraint and allowing their sin to run its inevitable course. He also accomplishes this directly and eventually, by specific acts of DIVINE JUDGMENT and punishment.

"Therefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

"For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their ERROR which was due." -- Romans 1:24-27

The practice of homosexuality fails God's test, His perfect mark. God has tested man's mind and found them worthless and useless (Jeremiah 6:30). God's penalty can be described in His law of reaping and sowing as a result.....

"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge (rejecting Him and His ways), God GAVE THEM OVER TO A DEBASED MIND, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they ar whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; ........................

.............WHO, KNOWING THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT OF GOD, THAT THOSE WHO PRACTICE SUCH THINGS ARE DESERVING OF DEATH, NOT ONLY DO THE SAME, BUT ALSO APPROVE OF THOSE WHO PRACTICE THEM." -- Romans 1:28-32

Is there any hope for the homosexual?

Hallelujah, YES!!......Just like there is hope for you, me and ALL OF US!!

Peace and Hope

5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ

12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned-

13 To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone's account where there is no law. 14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.

15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! 16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. 17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

18 Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

20 The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, 21 so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Peer pressure is an issue on kids when it is presented to them...

... that it is perfectly OK to practice homosexuality.

When you and I were young homosexuality was not, at all, looked upon favorably. Granted, most people aren't going to go that route, anyway, because of their inclination. But as kids are exposed to more and more, sexually, and are not just allowed, but encouraged, to go outside natural heterosexual relationships, some number of kids are going to do it who otherwise would not have, especially if they were encouraged otherwise. Kids are naturally rebellious anyway. I know that I was, and most kids are. It is built into us to be rebellious. Some kids will do it just for the attention they get in being overtly rebellious.

Sexual depravity is another factor. As people are exposed to more and more, sexually, with pornography being easily and quickly available right at one's fingertips, even on their phone, people are pushing the envelope more now than ever. Homosexuality is just that... a level of pornography that goes beyond sex between male and female.

We hear more stories over the years that make your chin hit the floor in disbelief. Jeffery Dahmer says that it was pornography that led him to delving into homosexuality, which kept escalating, along with what was his on-the-edge behavior, anyway. He talked about how he would catch frogs as a kid and cut them open. Yes, he had issues but they were aggravated by his exposure to pornography and led to his involvement in homosexuality.

The average Joe is turned off, grossed out, by homosexuality between two men. But there are vulnerable people who are very young in age who will fall prey to this type of stuff, promoting the behavior as normal and acceptable.

Re: Encouraging others to practice immoral behavior is nothing short of....

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"

Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself." All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Matthew 22:36-40

I prefer my Christianity to be of love and acceptance rather then condemnation. But to each their own.

There is one thing that can help with this problem, which is the same...

... which helps men and women who want to have extra-marital sexual relations, which are also rebellion against God's design and intent.... and that is salvation through Jesus Christ, which brings about the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (who is also God). A redeemed soul, with the aid of the Holy Spirit, can overcome a sinful "dead" flesh that wants to rebel against God.

God abandoning man when man chooses to abandon God is one scary thought. But it is absolutely true. God shows us, in many places in His word to us, that He does just that.

The whole premise of that show is two lesbo foster parents...for the good

of the child of course.
One of them is white and one black, just to run the whole diversity gambit. So the two homersexer boys are prolly foster kids watching their bulldike moms going to town on eachother and got grossed out and turned to homersexerality rather than having to munch on one of the moms.

Just my guess...might be wrong.

Re: Encouraging others to practice immoral behavior is nothing short of....

Let's hope that you don't take that to mean acceptance of sin, most importantly within the church.

Outside of the church, which means outside of the body of Christ (not the brick and mortar "church"), no man can judge. That means we can't impose judgement, punishment on them.

1st Corinthians 5:11-13 - But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother who is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a reviler, a drunkard or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person. For what is it to me to judge outsiders? Do you not judge those who are inside? But God judges outsiders. Put away the evil person from among yourselves.

Loving your neighbor as you love yourself includes making them aware of God's law, God's design, God's expectation, and God's judgement for those who don't repent (turn away from) such things.

Show me where God's word tells anyone to go on living a sinful life, fully in rebellion against God, and that it is somehow OK to do that.

Jesus, when confronted by the Pharisees with the woman caught in the act of adultery, did tell them that whichever of them were without sin to be the first to throw a stone at her. But after forgiving her of her sin, He told her to go and sin no more. That story doesn't mean it is OK to act as you wish and God is going to love you for it.

God loves us all enough that He sent His only Son to fulfill the law, to live a sinless life and to shed His blood and die as OUR replacement, and to go even further and to defeat the very death that man's sin brought into the world. God's love for us is for us to repent of our sin, not overlook it and turn a blind eye when someone encourages anyone, much less a child, to live a sinful life in rebellion to God.
