GHSA is revisiting a proposal for separate private /public playoffs in classes A -AAA.
The committee chair is at Oconee and pushing hard.
(The enrollment multiplier didn’t result in more losses for private schools. So obviously it was not successful - because it was supposed to make them lose.)
I went to and I support public schools. I see 35 -40 HS games a season sometimes more. I’ve been in at least 30 high school gyms of all sizes and qualities Taliaferro Co to Buford. I’m against it. (You hadn’t lived till you see the Greene County - Taliaferro game in Taliaferro. Get there early.)
