Very familiar with the rules of how the amended the constitution, which I agree, would never happen with such a divisive person. However, Politco lays out some pretty interesting ways in which it could happen.

Granted, very unlikely... but for a person as power hungry as Trump, who failed to leave in a peaceful way in 2020, god knows what he will do to try to stay in power. We saw Version 1.0... now what happens when they have 4 years to prepare. All of those said we had "TDS" when we talked about Project 2025 and how Trump "never knew about it" "didn't know the people" "knows nothing about it" blah blah blah (yeah, right)... but now we are seeing people being nominated for positions who were authors and consultants of P2025 and many things off that playbook being tried or implemented. He will brainwash the cult to make them believe anything he wants, no matter how farfetched or wrong.

I don't put anything past Trump, include TRYING to run for a 3rd term, especially for his own benefit.

I think he says things like that entirely to trigger the left.

There were plenty of people who wanted Obama for a 3rd term. Didn't happen then, most likely won't happen with Trump.
