But now you're back to devaluing conference championships. I like the idea of placing the top 4 conference champs up top and making the seeding stressful for non conference champs. Plus instead of simply putting 1 thru 4 in....makes the conference champs 1 thru 5....just 5 still has to play first round game. So even if 12 beats 5, the 4 seed isn't getting a horrible matchup. But there would be no benefit to not winning your conference but getting the 5 seed anymore. 5 wouldn't be a UGA or Ohio St playing Boise then BYU, etc.
