Bobo the topic of Finebaum today initiated by the article written about Saban being given a chance by Kirby’s hiring of Bobo. Great response and defense by people with HS connections to his upbringing, history in the State, history of play calling under Richt, etc.
I’ve followed Bobo’s career since he was our QB. There’s no argument that he bleeds Red & Black
He is a great recruiter. He’s had a year of observation under Monken’s offense. Evidently there is some disappointment from our fan base with the hire by Kirby. Monken was a brilliant hire by Kirby 3 years ago. I think he knows what he’s doing.
Most callers said they hadn’t heard that from the fan base.
I remember all of us disparaging his offense early on in his OC career. He flipped that and made us a strong offensive machine. Top 4 in the country. That’s why he was offered the Colorado St job
