Now that I live in Ky I feel more inclined to enjoy whatever UGA sporting event I can get to when I am in town. I suppose I took some of this for granted all these years living in and around Athens all those years.
It was a beautiful day, couldn't have picked a better day. I thought that the crowd was decent considering the masters was going on, we had a baseball game next and spring break being in effect. My biggest observation is that this team seems more chippy and aggressive, if I took away one thing it would be that. I think Gunner has a better arm than we give him credit for, he certainly seems to command the offense well and I think that he will only get better through the summer as he works his ass off getting down timing with the WR.
Pugs looked good, you can see the talent but you can also tell hes not quite there yet which is fine. I think he will make a fine QB when the time comes. I think he throws it too hard sometimes.
Branch adds an element that I dont think we have had for a while, hes also a competitor you can tell he has a high drive. I think we will enjoy watching him and his brother be a Dawg
I was pleasantly surprised with Bowens, kid looks way more confident and looks like a good back. Bo Walker seems like hes going to move the pile, kid is strong and moves really well. Frazier will have an elite season if we can get the OL sorted out and have enough threat at WR to open up the running game.
The defense seems aggressive and theres a lot of speed out there, I think they will be a really good group.
We need out punter to get healthy.
