• 1/20/25 - DC Al Golden leaves to become Bengals DC
• 1/26/25 - Chris Ash targeted as next DC

Ohio State

• 1/26/25 - DC Jim Knowles leaves to become Penn State DC
• 1/26/25 - Chip Kelly reportedly targeted by multiple NFL teams for OC

Penn State

• 1/14/25 - DC Tom Allen leaves to become Clemson DC
• 1/26/25 - Jim Knowles hired as new DC

Clemson

• 1/6/25 - Clemson fires DC Wes Godwin
• 1/14/25 - Tom Allen hired as new DC

Texas A&M

• 1/22/25 - Hires Lyle Hemphill as new defensive assistant
• 1/28/25 - DC Jay Bateman rumored to remain on staff in some capacity
• Rumors that Elko will call the defense in 2025

Florida

• 12/13/25 - co-DC Austin Armstrong leaves to become Houston’s DC
• 1/26/25 - Vinnie Sunseri hired as new co-DC

Auburn

• 1/7/25 - STC Tanner Burns leaving to become Texas State STC
• 1/22/25 - Chad Lunsford hired as new STC

Virginia Tech

• 12/12/24 - DC Chris Marve fired
• 1/27/25 - Sam Siefkes targeted as new DC
