I suggest y’all go back and watch who the culprits are. I get New Year’s Day 2021 it was Truss. But he comfortably out played Freeling and Greene. Earnest was BRUTAL the other night and where the pass pro leaks came from. There is a reason we almost always have the back and TE on the LT side. Freeling wasn’t great either on speed rushes. He got smoked more times than he did not.
Truss catches a lot of shit for being bad early in his career and not Mims last year. But he’s comfortably out performed 71 and 57 through 3 weeks.
Don’t believe me? Go watch each offensive snap twice. Watch each tackle per clip. You’ll realize he may be the worst tackle since…. Well shit that’s the other 2 guys. Neither are “as bad as we’ve had in 6 years” or Tyler Catalina. They need to get better, way better. But Earnest is a guard and Freeling needs the reps. Truss is our most consistent option at tackle by a lot.
