Something also notable regarding the 1974 Georgia-Vanderbilt game... Whether taped on their backs or helmets, some Bulldog managers and players were sporting a piece of tape featuring the word "REVENGE!" after UGA had been upset the year before at Vandy, 18-14, as a whopping 17-point favorite.

As for the game, revenge didn't come so easily for the Bulldogs, who watched a 17-point fourth-quarter lead evaporate to a 31-31 tie with less than two minutes remaining. Nonetheless, sophomore QB Matt Robinson drove the Georgia offense 80 yards in 1:28 to the game-winning score and a 38-31 victory.
