So because C Spire, which spends so much on advertising that I’ve never even heard of them, pulled its advertising, that means the Olympics were mocking the Last Supper and not paying homage to the famous painting of the Greek Feast of Dionysus? Reminder, the Olympics originated in Greece.
Did you notice that there were sixteen, not twelve, characters in the Olympic performance? Sixteen, like in the famous painting of the feast and not twelve, as portrayed in the Last Supper?
I wonder how much money C Spire pulled from “Olympic advertising”. C Spire provides service in MS and limited areas in TN and AL, so we know they aren’t doing national spends. They probably bought some spots on local cable. I bet no one associated with the Olympics has any idea who C Spire is much less what they spend their money on.
There’s plenty for Christians to be offended by in this world, but this isn’t one of them. Kudos to C Spire though for getting millions of dollars in free PR and impressing people too offended to actually try and understand what they are offended about.
