I’m still expecting Newman to be the guy in 2020 personally, but I do think there’s a very good chance that JT will get cleared this season... QBs get their waivers.
His 2018 season is not who he is as a player. USC was a toxic environment that year and he had 3 different playcallers in that one season alone. But he was reclassified and didnt enroll until June because he couldn’t early enroll, he digested everything very quickly. He was fully expected to put up a monster season in a QB friendly system under Harrell. Never had a chance to happen.
Make no mistake about it, this dude is REALLY good at football. Insanely intelligent and high football IQ.
