Kanon has good footwork and nice touch. Outside, he has a good back step from beyond the arc. He also has a high release at 6'9" His shot will be hard to block from 3.
Inside, his drop step is already good. He'll be able to handle an entry pass and do something with it, which is something we havent had lately (with the sometimes exception of Asa) something Tchewa, Deloach, Somto, Godfrey could only dream of. Absom has some potential, but I haven't seen it in action yet.
Next we need a ball handling PG with size who can score and distribute. PGs are out there (dribblers), but finding one to score and distribute is the tricky part.
Secondly, we need a mean ass inside player, maybe a Draymond Green or Rick Mahorn type who enforces the rule of law in the post.
As always, I'm cautiously optimistic about our team for one more season.
