I figured why not ask the board, since we have a lot of interesting conversations on here any ways. After Hurricane Helene came through here in Greenville SC, our backyard was absolutely decimated. We had 15 trees that had fallen and at least 4 ft of standing water, that had drowned our fescue. So, with no longer having shade, with the trees being gone, we decided to bite the bullet and go with Zoysia. We had it put out on November 9th and with us having a fair amount of warm days in November/December, it was able to take root fairly quick. With that being said, any advice from you guys will be greatly appreciated when it comes to treating it. A schedule will be ideal, especially when it comes to pre emergent and fertilizer. I really appreciate any guidance/feedback from the board.
