My Oklahoma Joe Longhorn is getting close to retiring itself. I have had it for around 10 years now. But with 4 young kids and less time to keep an eye on a true stick burner, I've decided to look into getting a pellet grill/smoker. I'm looking forward to the versatility and ease of use I've heard about for years now. I've got me eyes on the PitBoss 850 but there are lots of reviews with temp issues and the app. Is the extra $3-$400 for the Recteq Deck Boss 590 worth it? Any other recommendations?
I often cook a 15-20lb brisket or 4 slabs of ribs. While cooking those I will throw some brats or sausage on for an appetizer so I'm curious if there's enough room on that Recteq?
TIA for the feedback on this GameDay. Hope you guys enjoy tailgating and dove shoots today. Wish I was headed to a field soon myself.
Go Dawgs!!!!
