The Dem party as we currently know it is dead. They’ve either got to cut bait with Biden and start over or they continue with the lying and coverups and risk losing even more of electorate. They’ve been exposed, now the question is how do they respond.
I have learned in my 56 years on this planet that sometimes it’s better to do nothing. The Dems should do the same thing. They are really overreacting.
Or there are some things they are desperate to keep hidden. I mean what if it is proven covid was man made in Wuhan and our NIH was funding the research? I don't know it to be true but it's starting to look like something that needs to be investigated as vigorously as the Trump pee pee tape.
What if Liz Cheney did suborn perjury and knowingly suppress exculpatory testimony? What if Adam Schiff was the point man in a scheme to railroad a sitting POTUS?
Just like everything else they do, this would backfire biggly.
The president this would set would be a Pandora’s box.
Am I missing something? I had never even heard of US politicians getting arrested and targeted by political opponents until Trump and others around him started finding themselves in the midst of indictments brought by elected DA's. Yet it is Trump who is being painted as the one who is going to use his power to "get" his opponents? Did he do that the first term?
What the actual eff. It is like they always say......those with the worst intentions typically accuse others of doing crazy things. Why? Because that is what they would do and they can't fathom someone not thinking that way.
Could you imagine if Trump had sent the FBI to raid the Clintons' lawyers and advisors and tried to intimidate them into flipping on them?
It all gets back to the same thing: Every freak-out about Trump is about shit he either says, or some kind of fear folks have about what he might do in the future. Not about shit that actually happened - you know, like peace and prosperity. That happened.
The democrats have actually done shit. Crazy ass inflationary policy. Elected DA's prosecuting political enemies.....and not prosecuting criminals. Wars.
Results matter. And I'm here for the deafening silence as all those "threats to democracy" under Trump never happen. With the election result, it seems like even the democrats have backed away from their ridiculous fears. At least a little bit.
