Locked and loaded! Dawgs looked ready to play from the opening tip. We were hounding on D and bullying down low. What a freaking night for RJ Godfrey. Felt like he could have had 30+, he was an animal down there.

We feel like a huge team. We are long at guard and long down low. We are able to do things right now that if we are able to do against more prominent teams, then this thing will be really fun. Our guards were able to get in the lane and just cause issues. A good pass here, a nice finish there, a missed shot but drew the defense for an easy clean up for our bigs. We were bigger and more athletic and were just locked in and dominant. It’s fun to see the scoring able to come from a lot of different places.

It felt like North Fla wanted no part of going inside. They thought about it and would quickly rethink that thought.

I thought Silas controlled the game well. Blue with some nice finishes inside. Asa working hard on the glass. Leffew ready to snipe when needed. Just an all around really good game.

It’s always hard to judge against non power 5 teams, but you have to like what you see so far. Friday night vs Ga Tech will tell us a little bit more. Let’s get another W, this is fun!

Go Dawgs!
