A few have posted in recent days/weeks that the Braves could look to bring in Max Scherzer on a 1 year deal. I believe there's a shot of that if they can't acquire anyone else.
However, there's a 29 year old starting pitcher that just completed his first full season as a starter that is apparently on the trading block due to the team seeking to slash their overall budget. Michael King of the Pads is apparently on the trading block. He's in the last year of arbitration which should bring him a salary somewhere between $7-$8 million this year. If the Braves traded for him, I'm sure they'd extend him so he doesn't hit FA in a year.
So how did last year go as a starter?
