I remember a lot of big name operations being moved to the head of the line while actual small businesses had to wait months and try to hang on long enough to get a loan. The Lakers, Shake Shack and others were shamed into returning PPP loans that the large banks approved.
I also recall some large banks, most notably Wells Fargo, lying about their handling of PPP loan applications. Nothing new for the most corrupt financial institution in America.
Individuals don’t take out PPP loans. Please stop getting your “information” from Twitter.
I say this as a conservative. I want my fellow Americans to be informed, not misinformed and outraged.
Individuals own companies that took PPP loans. Some individuals had less of a need than others. Some individuals that own companies had no real need at all, as their businesses were not impacted or were not prevented from operating normally.
I understand PPP loans quite well and helped a number of peer business owners get them. I often referred to the applicant as the person instead of the business entity. All concerned knew what we meant without the full distinction.
Try getting some yourself. Diddy is not the only one. Lots of entertainers got millions.
And what is your point? All of these are valid and lawful. It seems a bit late to be posting that you do not like the PPP program.
