Our government programs that assisted foreign medical students with tuition in exchange for practicing in rural areas of the U.S. were funded via USAID and HHS.
Those programs are gone. Guess what the consequence is going to be for rural counties in Georgia?

You need to do some basic homework and talk to the people who keep health care alive in the rural parts of our state. This is a death blow to many rural counties in Georgia.
Yall laugh your stupid asses off about it, but in 18 months roughly half of the hospitals in Georgia will have closed (insert Musk chainsaw picture). The cost of elder care will have doubled. Gas. Groceries. $2b loss of wealth to in one day.
50% of the people in rural Georgia counties will be over 60 miles from the nearest hospital.

How many immigrants do you sponsor and provide food and shelter in your home?
How many immigrants are you supporting through college scholarship programs to help them become self sufficient?

Our goal is similar in regards to providing assistance. Where we disagree is how it’s done.
The government is not my God. I don’t see government as something I feed blindly and just assume. I don’t see my tax form and feel I have contributed to humanity.
The government is a creature that should always be owned and controlled by the citizen, only providing the least services to its citizens at a reasonable cost if money is forcibly taken from the citizen. The government was not created to control the citizen, but to provide basic needs and military protection.
Our tax dollars should never be spent in the dark and should never be bartered.
Get the government out of the immigration support business and allow only legal immigration through normal legal ports and we become best friends having a beer.

You should be a hired consultant to the Finance Secretary. You seem to half a sixth sense for these things.
They go to school, ride on roads and public transportation. They are protected by police and many other things that taxes pay for. They don't deserve free Healthcare, ss, or welfare.

They rural areas are dieing no matter what money is thrown there because the youth from those areas have no future in them. I came from a small rural area. 90 percent move away. 100 years from now many small towns won't exist regardless of a foreign dr getting money from the govt or not.
We have a term for when illegal immigrants pay taxes expecting benefits. And that term is "fraud".'
